First Neighbourgood "Pop-up" Market

Join us this Saturday for the first neighbourgood "pop-up" market. Shane and Heather from St. Joseph Island Coffee Roasters will be brewing some of their fresh (Fair Trade Certified) local roast coffee and debuting the "presso" (look forward to a great espresso, maybe even a latte). Melanie and Martti Lemieux from Valleyfield Farm will be serving a cheddar herb quiche with a side of savoury potato leek hash (for those so inclined). Shop a choice selection of locally sourced produce and Valleyfield's grassfed Black Angus Beef. We'll have Mel's baking on hand and the first batch of her savoury, sweet salted maple  caramels (if you have a sweet tooth this will be your fix).

The pop-up market will be open twice a month for three hours (9:00am-12:00am), it will be consistently, inconsistent (participating farmers, bakers and makers will be changing throughout the season). If you're interested in good food and community the neighbourgood market is the place to kick-start the conversation. We've sourced a great (indoor) location at 1643 Wellington St E., the ground floor of  St Matthews Anglican Church, otherwise known as the church with the steep roof. (south-west corner of Shannon and Wellington by Sir James Dunn). If you have kids bring them down, we should have something on hand for them as well. This Saturday you can expect (fingers-crossed)
